Sensing blocks as the name implies lets you sense or detect different things on the stage.

The main type of sensing block used is touching, this has different options where you can detect if the current sprite is touching another sprite, the mouse pointer or the edge of the stage.

The other main type of sensing block is touching colour. This will detect if the current sprite is currently touching the selected colour on the stage. (Click the oval with the colour on it to change it)
